Petra, the ancient city of Jordan, is a masterpiece carved from reddish-pink rock, hidden between mountains and canyons. Access to the city is through a narrow gorge called the Siq, which gradually reveals Al-Khazneh (The Treasury), one of the most impressive structures carved directly into the rock.
